02 / HOW WE QUOTE

No surprises,
by design.

You see the number before you commit

Every engagement starts with a written proposal setting out scope, deliverables, fees and timescales. Nothing begins until you have accepted it.

Phases end in something usable

We split builds so that each phase leaves you with something you would still pay for on its own. If phase one gives you nothing you can use, it was drawn wrong.

Scope changes are priced before the work

If you ask for something outside the agreed scope, we tell you what it costs and what it does to the timeline, then wait for your answer.

Support is quoted, not absorbed

The month after launch is when the real requirements arrive. We put a defined support arrangement in the proposal so nobody feels ambushed.

03 / WHAT MOVES THE NUMBER

Why two similar
projects differ.

Scope
How many distinct things the system has to do, and how much of it is bespoke rather than configured.
Integrations
Every external system — payments, CRM, suppliers, accounting — adds work and testing.
Content
Whether you supply copy and imagery, or we produce it.
Urgency
Compressed timelines cost more because they displace other work.
Data
Migrating existing records is usually the least visible and most time-consuming part of a build.
Training
How many people need to be able to run it confidently once we hand over.
04 / QUESTIONS

Before you ask.

Are these prices fixed?

They are starting points, not quotations. The figure for your project comes from a written proposal after we understand the scope. What is fixed is that you see that number before any work begins.

Do you charge VAT?

Prices shown are exclusive of VAT. VAT is added at the prevailing rate where it applies. Your proposal will state the position clearly.

What is discovery and why is it paid?

For larger builds we run a short paid discovery phase that produces a specification, screens, a data model and a costed plan. It is paid because it is real work, and the document is yours to take anywhere.

Do you ask for a deposit?

Payment points are set out in your proposal. For phased builds we normally invoice against phase completion rather than asking for the whole amount up front.

What if the project needs to stop?

You pay for work properly carried out and any third-party costs committed on your behalf, and we hand over what is complete. The terms cover this in full.

The full commercial position is set out in our terms and conditions.
